How did you get your
start in drumming? |
I played in a
Marching Band, when I was a young kid. I learned the basic rudiments,
and then went on to study music in school. I learned how to play
other percussion instruments (like the drum set, and tympani drums) I
continued studying drums while in College. |

I have many favorites
throughout the police, and professional bands. |

HVR Police Pipes and
Drums, VCHS Jazz and Marching Band, University of Scranton Concert
Band and numerous rock and blues bands throughout the area. |

memorable moment during your drumming career? |
Playing all of the
9/11 memorials with the HVR Police Pipes and Drums (including a
memorial for a close personal friend (Mike Costello) who was lost in
the attacks. |

What would your wish
be for the band in the next few years? |
To continue to have
fun, and professionally play pipe music for the police agencies of the
Hudson valley. |

What is the best tip
that you can suggest to a new drummer? |
Keep
practicing; play with your heart, and soul. Have fun and remember:
"Don't just hit the skins play them." |
